At Tidewater Physicians for Women in Virginia Beach, VA, we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Katrina Marcinkowski, an accomplished OB/GYN whose passion for women’s health shines through every stage of care—from adolescence to menopause.
A Strong Educational Foundation
Born in Chicago and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia, Dr. Marcinkowski brings exceptional academic achievement and compassionate care to our practice. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and History from Boston College before attending Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS), where she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated at the top of her class.
Following medical school, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. During her residency, Dr. Marcinkowski was recognized with the B. Frank Lovett Memorial Fund Award for her compassion and excellence in the medical care of women.

Dr. Marcinkowski’s philosophy of care centers on empowering women with knowledge, compassion, and individualized attention. She provides a full scope of OB/GYN care—from contraception and family planning to prenatal, delivery, and menopausal care. Her professional interests include:

A Warm Return to Virginia
After years of training and practice in Philadelphia, Dr. Marcinkowski is excited to return to Hampton Roads to serve the community where her journey in medicine began. “I’m thrilled to be moving back to the area and joining the Tidewater Physicians for Women family,” she shares.
Outside of the office, Dr. Marcinkowski enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She also loves running, hiking, skiing, and traveling, bringing the same energy and curiosity she values in her medical practice into her personal life.
